Successful Delivery Is Guaranteed!

We guarantee your products will arrive safely at your door or nearest post office and local tracking will be provided.. Not many merchants will give you this reassurance.

In the unlikely event your package is lost in transit, or fails to deliver through no fault of your own, we will re-send the goods or reimburse you.

We will make sure that the package ends up in your hands so that you don't have to worry about non-receipt of goods ever again!


Most products on the website require a 4-7 working day lead time from our suppliers. All orders are sent from an overseas warehouse by our network of express international couriers and airmail operators. Shipping times exclude customs clearance delays and un-forseen events. (barring any delays at customs) All prices include customs and import duties which are paid by us.

Detailed Shipping Information:

Low value orders will be bundled with other low value shipments and combined and shipped to us at Gadget-shop. We will then forward it to your address with Fastway couriers. This requires a lead time before your items are sent locally of 5 - 10 working days.

Fastway or SAPO 10 - 15 working days-

Orders under R1500 can be sent with SAPO to your nearest post office or Fastway Couriers to your door. Orders will first be imported to us and then sent locally to you. Delivery will take 10 - 20 days.

DHL- 7 - 10 Working Days

Will be sent with DHL international couriers to your door, delivery will take 5 - 9 working days in total. Please allow 1 -3 days for processing before we will be able to provide the international tracking number. Delivery costs are excluding any customs duties or VAT that may be payable upon customs clearance.

DHL may ask us to pay an additional fee of around R300 should you be in a remote area, if this is the case, we will inform you before your order is  shipped.


Orders will be well packaged and protected to keep your shipment safe from damage. All items are checked and working when leaving the warehouse, please note that if your item is faulty/damaged or different from what was described you need to contact us within 7 days to request a refund or replacement. Items covered by guarantee must be returned to us for inspection within the guaranteed period before a refund can be made. Guarantees,don't cover damage due to misuse or damage caused by fault of the user.

Custom clearance & taxes

Customs clearance paperwork and procedures are handled by the courier. They may need to contact you in certain cases to confirm details of a shipment. In any cases where additional paperwork is required for customs clearance, Gadget Shop will assist you fully. Any local sales tax or import duty will be calculated when your goods enter your country: in most cases there is nothing to pay, but if there is, you will receive a small surcharge bill before you receive the products.

Returns Policy

Faulty/Damaged Items

We have a 7 day return policy. Any items that are faulty (DOA - Dead on arrival) needs to inform us within 7 days of receiving the product, products must be returned to us in Brand New condition with the retail packaging.

Incorrectly ordered items: If you have ordered an product and after receiving it discover that it is not what you were looking for or expecting, you can return it to us at the return address which can be found below. Please note that there can be a 20% restocking fee if it is deemed that it was the fault of the buyer.

If we sent you the wrong item: We will gladly accept a return if you inform us within 7 days of receiving your order. Items must be returned in new & original condition with retail packaging, as received by the buyer.

Change your mind: You have decided not to proceed with the sale for whatever reason. Please contact us to create a return request before sending any parcels to our return address. 20% Restocking fee will apply.
